North Charleston has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Beaufort Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, North Charleston was beaten by the Hawks 61-26.
Meanwhile, Beaufort slipped by the Dolphins 35-34 on Friday. The win was just what Beaufort needed coming off of a 47-16 defeat in their prior game.
Beaufort found their leader in underclassman Carson Crosby, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crosby has scored all season. Faith Owens was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
North Charleston's loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Beaufort, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
Things could have been worse for North Charleston, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-32 loss to the Eagles in their previous meeting on January 16th. Can North Charleston avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
