Make it six blowout wins for the Mansfield Christian Flames this season. They claimed a resounding 54-16 victory over Crestline on the road. The victory was just what Mansfield Christian needed coming off of a 49-20 loss in their prior match.
Crestline's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kennedi Sipes, who scored five points along with four steals, and Kendall Huffman who scored four points. Sipes has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
Mansfield Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Crestline, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mansfield Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Crestline, they will square off against Hardin Northern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hardin Northern has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21.
