The West Hall Spartans lost against the White County Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Hall had to suffer through a rough 74-12 loss at the hands of White County. West Hall was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-3.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Lightsey, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Burkett, who scored 12 points.
West Hall's defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.1 points per game. As for White County, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hall will take on Wesleyan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gilmer at 6:00 p.m.
