Cypress suffered their biggest loss since November 22, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Francis Parker Lancers, falling 81-56. The Centurions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Tavid Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on 38 points and nine rebounds for Francis Parker. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last 24 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amon Andrews, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 19 points.

Cypress' loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Francis Parker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
