There's no place like home for the Wahoo Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-34 victory over Blair on Saturday. For Wahoo, this counts as revenge for the 37-15 defeat Blair walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Sidney Smart was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Lausterer, who scored 14 points.
Wahoo is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Blair, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wahoo will take on Plattsmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Plattsmouth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on January 5th. As for Blair, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lincoln Northwest at 5:45 p.m. Lincoln Northwest has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
