While East Windsor might've come up empty on Tuesday, Elias Jacobs wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Jacobs was still locked in as he struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Jacobs and East Windsor will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Canton at 3:45 p.m. The Panthers have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
