Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justin Bishop, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Bishop has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landen Custis, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Archbishop Curley's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Archbishop Curley will take on Calvert Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southern Maryland Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th.
