Stratford has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Fort Bend Marshall with a sharp 41-21 victory on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Cy-Fair's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of College Station by a score of 49-47. Cy-Fair has struggled against College Station recently, as their game on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Cy-Fair saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Taniyah Davis, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Viviyn Mcleod, who scored 12 points.
Stratford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Cy-Fair, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
