The High Island Cardinals will head out on the road to challenge the Zavalla Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. High Island is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, High Island didn't have quite enough to beat the Pirates and fell 2-0.
In what's become a running theme this season, Zavalla gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Leggett 58-24 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Zavalla who now have three in a row.
High Island's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Zavalla, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.
