The Whiteland Warriors will take on the Mooresville Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whiteland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
Mooresville will be up against a hot Whiteland squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Warriors came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against Perry Meridian. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one run.

Kayden Wilson was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Wilson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Blake Riddle was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Whiteland: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Maalik Perkins was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Mooresville was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell just short of Cascade by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pioneers have suffered since May 5th.
Mooresville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Denny, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Dane Browning also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Mooresville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Whiteland, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Whiteland has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mooresville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Whiteland might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Mooresville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
