Rocori blew St. Francis out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday St. Francis got their revenge. The Spartans wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Cal Heying was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Zander Folkerts, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Rocori's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for St. Francis, their record now sits at 10-6.

Coming up, Rocori will venture away from home to take on Alexandria at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Francis, they will host Becker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Bulldogs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
