John Carroll came out on top against Dulaney on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Patriots blew past the Lions 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kiernan Deremeik looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Casey Carpenter and Joey Coudon did most of the damage at the plate: Carpenter went 1-for-3 with one home run and five RBI, while Coudon got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave Carpenter a new career-high. Braeden Critzer also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

John Carroll is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-2 record this season. As for Dulaney, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
