The biggest upset of the week belonged to Stow-Munroe Falls, who took down 231st ranked Cuyahoga Falls, 21-9.
The Bulldogs moved up to 262 from 289 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northeast Ohio - River. Stow-Munroe Falls climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Black Tigers 21-9.
Elyria's dynamic duo of Hunter Parsh and Da'Jaun Glover proved tough for Mayfield to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Parsh threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns and Glover had 93 yards receiving. Dan Ratliff helped Elyria's passing attack out by catching six balls for 82 yards.
Ben Gedeon was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 159 yards as Hudson fell to the Wildcats. Mitchell Guadagni also contributed to the rushing game with 47 yards on the ground.
North Royalton's Travis Tarnowski and Carl Lint have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tarnowski has thrown for 2403 yards this season, while Lint, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 43 catches for 720 yards. Jordan Connell from Elyria leads the league in rushing with 904 yards.
Accruing a total of 19 touchdowns this year, Parsh has thrown for 1999 yards with 10 interceptions.
Mayfield led Northeast Ohio - River in scoring this week after putting up 31 points on the Pioneers.
