Garrett Krone of Augusta ran for the longest rushing play in Northern 6-Man (6 Man) this season against Box Elder last week. Krone ran for 64 yards on the play and finished with 247 on the day as his team defeated the Bears.
Geraldine/Highwood was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. The Rivals vanquished North Star 26-12 earlier in the week.
Augusta's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Hantz threw for 252 and four touchdowns and Krone had 132 yards receiving. Luke Severensen helped Augusta's passing attack out by catching three balls for 62 yards.
Augusta's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Elks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hantz has thrown for 1050 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Krone has 27 catches for 527 yards. Krone leads the league in rushing with 734 yards.
The marquee game in Northern 6-Man (6 Man) this week will be the clash between Valier and Geraldine/Highwood. The Panthers enters the game ranked third in the state, while the Rivals ranks 17th.
Valier extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Big Sandy, 46-44. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
