COMANCHE, Okla. - the Bombers scored 27 points in the first quarter to secure a big 53-0 victory over Comanche (Okla.) on Saturday.
Frederick scored on a kick return touchdown by
Trey Booker, a
Trevor Flores touchdown pass to
Grant Hoover, a
Jessie Webb touchdown run and a touchdown run by Booker in the quarter.
The lead that FHS took on a kick return touchdown by Booker with 8:00 to go in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
With the win the Bombers extended their winning streak to nine games. Frederick defeated the Comets 70-3 last week.
Booker was the top performer for FHS. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 14 touchdowns on the season.
The Bombers came into the game allowing 12.4 points per game.
Frederick also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 27-14.
Comanche (4-5) goes up against Hinton in a 2A District 3 game matchup next week, while Frederick (9-0) locks horns with Hobart also in a 2A District 3 game.
