Beresford may have come out ahead in their last contest, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on Canton at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Beresford skips in on three wins and Canton on four.
The struggle was real when Beresford and Groton clashed last week, but the former ultimately edged out the latter 35-32. 35 seems to be a good number for Beresford as the team scooped up a victory with the same point total in their previous matchup.
Meanwhile, Canton faced Sioux Falls Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Canton took down Sioux Falls Christian 29-12.
Their wins bumped Beresford to 3-1 and Canton to 4-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Beresford and Canton clash.
