Wildwood moved up to 182 from 221 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Jersey - Classic. A 61-34 win over Maple Shade helped the Warriors improve their standing.
Austin Dobleman threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns. He was 11-18 with one interceptions.
Wesley Hills was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 452 yards on 18 carries as Wildwood fell to Highland Regional. Teammate Jose Valentin added to the ground attack by rushing for 11 yards.
Burdsall was the best wideout in the league this week as the Eagles fell to the Tartans. Burdsall tallied 12 receptions for 178 yards. Josh Van Blarcom helped Pennsville Memorial's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Pennsville Memorial's Dylan Cummings and Burdsall have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading West Jersey - Classic in both passing and receiving yards. Cummings has thrown for 563 yards this season, while Burdsall, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 26 catches for 447 yards. Rich Hans's team's Hills leads the league in rushing yards with 1062.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Warriors take on Salem. Wildwood's offense has scored 147 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Rams have allowed only 120 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Gloucester City takes on Clayton. As it stands, the Lions are in second, while the Clippers are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Gloucester City takes on Clayton. Leon Harris's team has allowed 64 points this season, while Marvin Tucker's team has given up 75. The Lions allowed 45 points last week as they lost to Glassboro.
