The Hiawatha Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Mooseheart 82-55. Hiawatha has struggled against Mooseheart recently, as their match on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Mooseheart's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tolu Erinolu, who scored 22 points. The match was Erinolu's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Nishi Amos was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Hiawatha bumped their record down to 3-10 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mooseheart, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
Hiawatha will be home for the holidays to greet Alden-Hebron at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alden-Hebron and Hiawatha are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Mooseheart won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Christian Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
