Windsor Forest is 9-1 against Savannah since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Windsor Forest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Troy Smith led the charge by scoring 14 points. The contest was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. Ryheim Manning was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Savannah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 66-57 win over Hilton Head Island. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Windsor Forest now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Savannah, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Everything came up roses for Windsor Forest against Savannah in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 as the team secured a 77-30 win. With Windsor Forest ahead 31-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
