Stony Point's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mary Bortels, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Naomi Ofunrein was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Stony Point's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Cedar Ridge, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.
Stony Point will take on Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Vista Ridge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Cedar Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manor is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
