After losing to Flambeau the last time they met, New Auburn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The New Auburn Trojans walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Flambeau Falcons on Tuesday.
Flambeau's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Hruby, who went 6 of 14 en route to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Kopacz, who posted 13 points and six assists.
New Auburn has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. As for Flambeau, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-3.
Coincidentally, New Auburn and Flambeau will both be playing Winter the next time they take the court. New Auburn will head out to face Winter at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Flambeau will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 11th.
