After a string of seven wins, the Alisal Trojans's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 38-20 fall against Palma. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alisal in their matchups with Palma: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading Palma to victory were Eli Dukes and Thomas Nunes. Dukes rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, while Nunes rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
Alisal's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Palma, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Alisal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palma will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Hughson at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Hughson's defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so Palma's offense will have their work cut out for Palma.
