The Cardozo Judges put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Bowne with points to spare, taking the game 75-58. Given Cardozo's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Bowne is ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Darius Mihai was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jordin Walker, who scored 15 points.
Cardozo pushed their record up to 18-0 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.4 points per game. As for Bowne, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.
Cardozo will head out on the road to take on Randolph Campus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Randolph Campus will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Bowne, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Notre Dame Catholic at 6:00 p.m.
