The biggest upset of the week belonged to Fallbrook, who took down 286th ranked Escondido, 24-21.
The Warriors moved up to 514 from 572 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Avocado - East. Fallbrook climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Cougars 24-21.
Escondido's Mitch Bartram and JC Hernandez have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bartram has thrown for 320 yards this season, while Hernandez, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has eight catches for 239 yards. Daviante Sayles from Rancho Buena Vista leads the league in rushing with 1164 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when San Pasqual takes on Steve Bridges' team. The Golden Eagles are in second place, while the Cougars are in fourth place.
Mission Hills extended the longest winning streak in Avocado - East this week by beating the Longhorns, 48-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
