Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer lost against Southern back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans lost 65-44 to the Southern Raiders. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Southern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cooper Warford led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. The match was Warford's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kale Ames, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 18 points and four steals.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Southern, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will host Johnson-Brock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson-Brock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 70.8 points per game this season. As for Southern, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Weeping Water at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
