The Randolph Campus Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the South Shore Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Randolph Campus put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They blew past KIPP NYC College Prep, posting a 41-0 win at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Randolph Campus just coasted through the last quarter.
Randolph Campus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Travis Gamble, who picked up 165 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Haly, who threw for 175 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Meanwhile, South Shore put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They didn't even let Eagle Academy III onto the board and left with a 16-0 win. That's two games straight that South Shore has won by exactly 16 points.
Randolph Campus' victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-5 Lafayette and 1-4 Campus Magnet (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 21.7% over those games). As for South Shore, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1.
