Daniel is a perfect 6-0 against Pickens since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will face off against the Blue Flame at 6:30 p.m. Daniel knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Pickens likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Daniel made easy work of Travelers Rest and carried off an 11-2 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Devildogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Ian McCrary tossed a big game, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Quint Cumbie was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Jasean Perry also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Pickens came up short against Greenville H on Monday, falling 10-3. The Blue Flame have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Matthew Cantrell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Jayden Ferguson was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Daniel, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
Pickens' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Daniel hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. It's a different story for Pickens, though, as they've only averaged .241. Will they be able to contain Daniel's hitters?
Daniel took their victory against Pickens in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Flame turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
