After losing to the Union Rockets the last time they met, the GEO Next Generation Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. GEO Next Generation walked away with a 50-43 victory over Union on Tuesday.
Antonio Wilson Jr. was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of GEO Next Generation's points. Isiah Jimison was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Despite the loss, Union saw an underclassman step up: Lamar Schwartz scored 32 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Schwartz's third in a row with at least ten points.
GEO Next Generation's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Union, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
