While losing is never fun, Freedom Prep Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings  (they are ranked 101st, while Intermountain Christian is ranked 35th).
 Merit Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 6-4 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 19  goals over those three  matchups. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
 Merit Preparatory Academy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Freedom Prep Academy when the teams last played  back in March, winning  2-0.
