Crestview has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Impact Christian Academy Lions at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Crestview is ranked 249th, while Impact Christian Academy is ranked 251st).
Last Tuesday, Crestview came up short against Milton and fell 55-48. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crestview has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Makhi Jones, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adell Johnson, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Impact Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-48 victory over Harvest Community.
Crestview now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Impact Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8.
