Eagle Point lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Yreka, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's   game. The Eagles were the clear victors by  an  11-2 margin over the Miners on Wednesday. Considering the Eagles have won eight contests by more than six  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Emalee Logan made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 In other batting news, Eagle Point let  Madisyn Dean and  Kady Ledbetter run wild. Dean  went 2-for-5 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run, while  Ledbetter  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  run. Those  two  doubles gave  Dean a new career-high.  Reese Zirkle was another key player,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs.
 Eagle Point  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .532. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yreka only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Eagle Point pushed their record up to 10-6 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Yreka, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle Point will square off against Crater at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Yreka, they will challenge Anderson at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Miners are facing the Cubs at the right time seeing as the Cubs are stuck on  an  11-game losing streak.
