Scott waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Elkhart Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Riley Suppes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Suppes was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
