Even though the Hanover Central Wildcats scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, the Logansport Berries still came out on top. Logansport had just enough and edged Hanover Central out 62-59.
Logansport got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris anthony Delvalle out in front who scored 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Delvalle continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Russell, who scored 14 points.
The win got Logansport back to even at 5-5. As for Hanover Central, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
Logansport is on the road again on Friday and play against Kokomo at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. One thing working in Kokomo's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hanover Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hammond Bishop Noll at 7:00 p.m.
