Davidson Academy came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints a 19-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Davidson Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
