West Washington and Orleans are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The West Washington Senators will head out on the road to challenge the Orleans Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Washington will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while Orleans is ranked 65th).
Last Tuesday, West Washington came up short against Borden and fell 44-34. West Washington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Orleans entered their tilt with Paoli with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Orleans walked away with a 49-36 victory over Paoli on Friday.
Rylan Crocker was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. Xavier Alston was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 14 rebounds.
West Washington's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Orleans, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.
West Washington was taken down by Orleans 60-31 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can West Washington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
