The Freeman Flyers entered their tilt with the Bon Homme Cavaliers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Freeman blew past the Cavaliers, posting a 65-33 victory at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Freeman also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Freeman's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Peters, who scored 13 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of David Walter, who scored 13 points.
Freeman pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Bon Homme, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeman will square off against the Beavers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Hanson is ranked 82nd, while the Flyers are ranked 73rd). Bon Homme is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on February 6th.
