The Ada-Borup Cougars stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 89-57 victory over Bagley. With Ada-Borup ahead 53-30 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Cadyn Dahl was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Austin McCraven was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
The victory (which was Ada-Borup's third in a row) raised their record to 17-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Bagley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Ada-Borup will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Grand Forks at 7:30 p.m. East Grand Forks knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 20 contests -- so hopefully Ada-Borup likes a good challenge. As for Bagley, they will head out on the road to challenge Laporte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Minnesota (Bagley is ranked 370th, while Laporte is ranked 355th).
