Carson McDonald put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he rushed for 268 yards and four scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.

Looking ahead, McDonald and McCool Junction will head out to face off against Heartland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Huskies thanks in part to McDonald: he rushed for 164 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 114 yards and one TD.
