Frankenmuth extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley - East this week by beating Birch Run, 49-14. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Eagles.
Bridgeport moved up to 557 from 597 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bearcats were able to make the jump by falling to North Branch 41-12.
Birch Run's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared Burke has thrown for 113 yards and one touchdown this season, while Zachary Helm has 11 catches for 69 yards. Preston Hogan leads the league in rushing with 657 yards.
Millington took down Pinconning 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
