 The team  relied heavily on  Maddie Bose, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, three  stolen bases,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ava Lopez, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 On Moses Brown's side,  Anna Costello put in work no matter where she played. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Costello has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Costello was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Costello wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Abby DeWolf, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Smithfield's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-12. As for Moses Brown, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-13.
 As of now, neither Smithfield nor Moses Brown have any future games scheduled.
