Softball Recap: Clinton Has No Trouble Against Newberry

Clinton had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Newberry Bulldogs 16-4 on Thursday. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Newberry, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Clinton will be playing in front of their home fans against Chester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chester will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newberry, they are taking a road trip to take on Fairfield Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
