It was a good run, but Buford unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheraw Braves. The match marked the first time this season in which the Yellow Jackets were not able to get on the board.

Jackson Sellers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits.

Buford's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Cheraw, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buford will face off against Parkwood at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cheraw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
