On Saturday, King humbled Indian Springs with a 74-42 victory. With King ahead 34-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
King's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Harrell led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Brayard, who scored 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Indian Springs lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordan Culberson. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. Culberson scored a full 33.3% of Indian Springs' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
King's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Indian Springs, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-10 record last season and are now at 2-7.
King's road trip will continue as they head out to face Elsinore at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th. Elsinore has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 496 points over their last seven matchups. As for Indian Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Citrus Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
