The Bennett Clippers lost against the Parkside Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bennett had to suffer through a rough 67-19 loss at the hands of Parkside. Bennett has not had much luck with Parkside recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Zion Oge continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parkside, scoring 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie White, who scored ten points.
Bennett's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-1. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.8 points per game. As for Parkside, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bennett will be home for the holidays to greet Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkside will be home for the holidays to greet Salisbury at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salisbury is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
