Basketball Recap: Geneva's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The third road game was the charm for Geneva, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past the School of the Arts Silverhawks with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 55-40. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Geneva's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trinity Maxon led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, Maxon is now averaging an impressive 9 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Good, who posted 15 points.

Geneva didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-30 win against Red Jacket on the 17th. As for School of the Arts, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-26 victory against Early College on the 18th.
