Coulton Pierce produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Coweta to the win on Friday. Pierce scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals, making the game his highest-scoring to date. It was the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals.
Pierce and Coweta will head out on the road to challenge McAlester at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coweta got just the result they wanted when they last faced McAlester, probably because Pierce had a solid game then too: he scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
