If St. John Bosco wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played JSerra Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Darren Chi. The Lions came out on top against the Braves by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Chi, who had 28 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games he's played.

The victory didn't come easy: St. John Bosco scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 26-28, 25-18.

JSerra Catholic's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for St. John Bosco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-9 record this season.

JSerra Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. John Bosco, they will be taking part in a tournament against Buchanan at 7:10 p.m. on Friday.
