Knippa is 1-9 against the Cowboys since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Knippa Crushers will head out on the road to face off against the D'Hanis Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Knippa is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-14, which was the final score in Knippa's tilt against the Angoras on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Knippa has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, D'Hanis beat the Panthers 45-41 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for D'Hanis.
D'Hanis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylee Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ryley Phillippe was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Knippa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for D'Hanis, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
Knippa came up short against the Cowboys in their previous meeting back in January, falling 36-29. Can Knippa avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
