Leadore suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2023 on Monday. They were the victim of a tough 72-47 loss at the hands of North Gem.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dane Piippo, who scored 16 points along with five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Porter Mayo, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Rockland entered their tilt with Mackay with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Rockland strolled past Mackay with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 63-47.
Leadore has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Rockland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
