The Bellville Brahmas put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Sweeny, posting a 49-0 victory at home. Fans of Bellville have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Bellville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam Hranicky out in front who rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Hranicky was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Another player making a difference was DD Murray, who rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
Bellville's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Sweeny, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Bellville will head out on the road to face off against West Orange-Stark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sweeny does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
